Portrait art is one way we can hold onto time. It’s how we can see the connection we have (revealed in our faces and expressions) to family members from generations before us. I always hear during our proofing appointments, “he looks just like his Grandfather or she looks just like her Aunt!” It is amazing to actually see.

Something that we’ve noticed that is gaining more popularity these days and we just love them are generational portraits. We love to see the bond a Grandmother has with both her daughter and granddaughter plus the similarity in looks they also have. Or the beauty captured when a Grandfather hugs his grandson during a session. That connection is so important!

The old saying, “time is fleeting” is reality. The older we get the more time moves at warp speed. So capturing these precious memories is so important for our next generation.
