Another day off which means another Hyman adventure! We took the kids to Mount Mitchell today and it was so much fun.

It was a blistering hot day in GREENVILLE but was 59 degrees up at the summit of Mount Mitchell and we loved it! On the way up the Parkway, Phillip got a bit nervous and kept saying, “I’m scared! We are going way too high!” Gave all of us a good laugh. But once at the top his nerves calmed down and he had fun!

The views were absolutely gorgeous. It’s been said that on a clear day you can see 5 states from the observation tower. It was cloudy but the mountains were breathtaking. We were in awe of God’s beauty.

We did a short hike and then ate lunch before heading back down the mountain. It was another perfect day with the family and making special memories!
