So how do you know when is the best time to have a painting done for your family? All I can say, is that once you see the image (the right image) then you will know if it's the right time. Here's an example of such a time. Was sitting in our proofing room with a mom and her daughter that we had photographed. I showed her the slideshow and as soon as "that image" popped up on our wall mom got all emotional and started to tear up. We went through the process of narrowing down to her favorites and she kept going back to that one image. She said, "that's the one!" We continued to select the correct size for her wall then came to her deciding on the finish. She had always purchased Rembrandt Portraits (canvas) but this time I showed her our Masterpiece Paintings. She loved it and knew that is what she wanted. Her 5 year old daughter asked her why she wanted a painting and mom's answer was, "have you ever noticed the paintings your Grandmother has hanging up in her home of children that we don't even know because she collects them from antique stores? Well, I think it would be awesome if we had a painting of YOU!"

That was the perfect reason and she knew that this moment captured was the perfect time for such a piece to hang in her home! Love it!
