Family Portrait Sessions

Your family is like no other. Why shouldn't your family portrait be as unique as you are? We are more than happy to meet with you and discuss the possibilities. Maybe you would like to have your portrait taken at your home or in a meaningful location. If your dog is a special part of your family, you may want to include him in your portrait. Is golf or quilting your passion? Perhaps you'd like to pose with your favorite putter or a quilt you have just completed. Your ideas are important to us!

There are other things to consider when planning your family portrait. Clothing is one of the most important elements. Color coordination is important. While everyone need not wear matching clothing, the colors should be harmonious; otherwise one person may dominate the scene. Another consideration is where the portrait will be displayed in your home. You may want your portrait to blend well with your décor.

Eyeglasses, makeup and hairstyles are also important elements. Our years of experience have enabled us to compile a list of suggestions to deal with the issues that may arise. How to eliminate the glare caused by glasses, how to apply makeup, how to make sure your hair is "just right" - all can be discussed and problems anticipated before the portrait session.

Within seven days of your session, you will return to us for your Viewing and Final Selection appointment. At this time, you will be asked to make the final decision regarding the portrait or portraits you wish to purchase. Please make sure that all decision-makers are present at that time. It is helpful to have two or three dates and times in mind for the viewing when you arrive for your photo session.
